About OTAless
OTAless is the direct-booking channel for the agent era. It makes short-term rentals from independent property managers searchable by people and by the AI agents working for them, and the stay is booked on the manager's own site, at the manager's direct rate. Managers get the booking without paying a commission. The name is the idea: no online travel agency (OTA) in the middle.
OTAless is operated by Shibusa Ventures Private Limited.
What it is, and what it is not
- It is
- one place, for people and AI agents alike, to find the stays independent property managers offer on their own websites, searchable by place, size, property type, amenities and nightly budget, where every stay leads straight to its manager's own booking page
- Ways in
- these pages and their search box; a public MCP server for AI agents; plain-text and JSON versions of the pages (llms.txt); and a Chrome extension that, on an Airbnb listing, looks for the same stay or the closest ones on a manager's own site
- It is not
- an online travel agency. The booking and the payment happen on the manager's site: OTAless holds no calendar, sets no price, adds no fee, and is not a party to anything you agree with a manager
- Not here
- photos, listing descriptions, guest reviews, ratings, contact details, paid placement or sponsored results
Where the listings come from
Facts are read from property managers' own public listing pages. A manager who asks us to leave is removed.
From each listing page we keep facts only: the stay's name, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, how many it sleeps, where it is, the amenities the manager lists, the lowest nightly rate the page publishes, and the page's address. Pages are re-read on a schedule, so a fact can lag behind the manager's site; a stay whose page disappears is withdrawn.

How the handoff works
Every booking link on OTAless goes through https://otaless.com/go, which redirects you to the manager's own listing page with your dates and guest count filled in. From there it is the manager's site: their availability, their final price, their terms, their payment page.
We record that the handoff happened (which stay, which dates, no account and no cookie) so we can tell whether OTAless is useful; the privacy page lists exactly what is stored.
Who it is for
- Travellers
- who would rather book with the people who run the place and pay the direct rate, without a platform's service fee on top
- AI agents
- that need to answer "find me a stay" with facts they can cite and a link that lands on the real booking page: see the MCP server and llms.txt
- Property managers
- who want more bookings on their own site and fewer through platforms that take a cut. Being listed is free, and so is leaving: see OTAless for property managers
Money
OTAless takes no commission on any booking, charges no fee to be listed or to be removed, and sells no placement. Every price shown is the manager's own published starting rate, not a quote.
Remove or claim a site
